The first edition of the Okulus symposium will be held from August 30 to September 1, 2024, with the title “Forest Pieces”. Okulus means eye and is located in a forest at Harpefoss art arena, while the title “Forest Pieces” refers to an increasingly precarious situation where nature is being built down and converted into an area for economic development. It refers to a concrete situation where new art arises in the encounter with a forest observatory.
