Myceliumkunst.no is a newly established platform that communicates both new projects and long-term initiatives with an experimental approach to art and place. At the same time, the platform will contribute to a more enlightened and critical public conversation about these projects: What challenges and opportunities are associated with these art practices, and how can it contribute to new thinking and ideas about landscapes, biotopes, environments, social spaces and movements?
The Mycelium conversation series presents selected projects that deal with site-based art, and projects that explore the relationship between art and place. The latest conversations in the series are with Sabine Popp and Terese Longva, who run the Longva artist residency, and with Anne Siv Falkenberg, artist and project manager at Dikemark art arena.
Since 2020, Longva artist residency has worked to establish an interdisciplinary, international art arena with offers of work stays for professional artists, curators, critics and others involved in interdisciplinary art projects.

Dikemark psychiatric hospital opened in 1905 and is scheduled to move from the large hospital area during 2026. In the process of an upcoming sale of the property, Dikemark art arena is exploring, among other things, how it can be adapted for the art community that works there, and how the place can become a center for the large collection of patient art created at Dikemark:
