Project

Artist initiated projects and platforms are increasingly locating in minor places, local environments and former industrial sites, as well as smal urban social spaces. These projects constitute a great variety of artistic practises that work closely with their environments, and exploration of possible collectives. The projects are often recognised by a deeper and lengthy presence. Presumably, this leads to other types of experience, questioning and knowledge about durabilty and sustainability in artist initiated projects, but also how they affect the sorroundings and meeting places.
